Andrew Meyer: Background Statement

Andrew Meyer is a Twin Cities business and creative services professional with experience in many facets of marketing communications, including:

  • Writing and editing content for print material and the web (well-versed in AP Style)
  • Photography (custom shoots and stock photos)
  • Marketing communications consulting
Andrew is a graduate of Minnesota State University -- Moorhead, where he earned a BS in Mass Communications. In addition to a wide array of freelance projects, his professional experience has inlcuded the following positions:
  • Marketing Specialist at UnitedHealthcare, a Fortune 100 company and top nationwide health plan based in Minnetonka, MN.
  • Marketing Manager at Rust Consulting, a class action notice and settlement administration firm located downtown Minneapols.
  • Marketing Consultant (current) at North Memorial Health Care, a leading hospital, clinic services and medical transportation provider in the Robbinsdale, MN.

His continued education includes desktop publishing instruction at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Andrew has also pursued additional training in web development and marketing principles. He is an Accredited Member and Board Member (Web Committee Chair) for the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network.
